Foster Family Agency (FFA) Compliance Monitoring
About Foster Family Agency (FFA) Compliance Monitoring
A component of the Performance Monitoring Section in the Out-of-Home Care Management Division (OHCMD) is to conduct reviews of contracted Foster Family Agencies (FFAs) which serve Los Angeles County DCFS placed children. These reviews include program contract compliance reviews of FFAs. The purpose of conducting these reviews is to determine if Contractors meet the requirements set forth in the FFA Foster Care Agreement, the Contractors program statement, State regulations, and DCFS policies by assessing their service delivery and to ensure that Contractors are providing children with quality care and services in a safe environment, which includes physical care, emotional support, and other services to protect and enhance their growth and development.
